BAFILM TERMS OF USE

1. Who we are

Bafilm is operated by the Bafilm team ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Bafilm website, web app and mobile apps (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

2. Your account

You can browse Bafilm without an account; you need one to watch. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address or mobile number; keep access to them secure. You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's permission. An account is personal to you; how many devices can play at the same time depends on your plan.

3. What you can do with the content

The content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial viewing through the Service only. You may not download, record, copy, redistribute, publicly show or circumvent any protection of it.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

The first episode of a series is free once you are signed in; other episodes and films need an active subscription. Each plan's price, length and number of simultaneous streams are shown before you pay, in Canadian dollars, and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. A subscription lasts for the period shown at purchase and does not renew automatically; buying again before it ends extends it. Payments on the web are processed by Stripe and in the Android app by Google Play; we do not store your card details.

5. Refunds

If a purchase did not work as described, contact us within 14 days at support@bafilm.com and we will refund it or restore it. A subscription you have not used to watch anything may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google Play's refund policies. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law in your province.

6. Parental controls

An account holder can turn on parental controls to limit age ratings, viewing hours and purchases; changing them requires a code sent to the parent's contact.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to break its security, no automated access, no sharing of your account, and no unlawful, abusive or infringing comments. You can report a title or a comment with "Report"; we review every report.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. If a significant outage prevents you from using a paid subscription, we will extend it. We may change these terms; we will tell you about material changes in advance, and the version you accepted is recorded with your account.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
